Trantex anticorrosion system: External Tape 20 mils

Caracteristics
White color tape with 20 mils of thickness, manufactured with a polyethylene backing and a high adhesion, rubberresin adhesive. The pipe gets protected by winding the tape in a spiral, after applying the internal tape Trantex 24. When applied, both tapes became a strong, hermetic and permanent seal, protecting steel pipes against corrosion. The purpose of the white color backing is to easy detect possible injuries to the tape system before deposited underground. This product has excellent durability.

Applications
"The main purpose of this external tape is to mechanically protect the internal tape against impacts and accidentally scratches that may occur to the pipe during construction, welding or burying."
